CNIB - Biopro

CNIB-Biopro is the field – test where the lab work is scaled up to pilot plant. To achieve that aim we account with a biorefinery that is a high technology plant that has been designed by our scientists and technicians to develop products derived from biomass. This plant can have different chemical, physical, biochemical and biological processes. It has a capacity of 45,000 liters of ethanol per year, but its reactors and fermenters can be adjusted to produce a variety of products including polymers, organic acids, nanocrystals among others.

We work in the development of sustainable projects for the industry in and out of Ecuador.
